Hi there, we are very sorry about this. Unfortunately, while the item is stamped and fully tested as platinum, it does not have British hallmarks, which is why it failed authentication. This is out of our control. Many fine and vintage pieces of 18ct and platinum jewellery are unmarked yet still test for their gold carat. The item was also refunded timeously and we made every effort to contact you, explain the situatio and apologise for the return of the item. We hope this clarifies our position
